Julie has been treating adults and children for nearly 30 years. Having graduated in 1996, she immediately began her professional career as a clinician in private practice and as a lecturer in osteopathy at RMIT University.
She is co-owner of Northcote Osteopathic Clinic, treating adults, children, babies, pregnant women, sporting injuries and the elderly. It is the diversity of general practice that keeps her happy.
Having 4 children of her own has helped Julie to understand the many problems that women can have in pregnancy and has helped develop her approach to treating babies and children.
Julie has consulted and taught osteopathy internationally in both India and Japan. She also runs osteopathic professional development seminars around Australia and privately mentors osteopathic students. She is the Chairperson of RMIT Osteopathy Industry Advisory Committee.
Julie uses many different osteopathic techniques such as soft-tissue massage, joint mobilisation, manipulation, muscle energy technique, visceral and cranial osteopathy and believes in a patient centered, holistic approach to health care.
