There are many different therapies out there, and there are some highly skilled therapists within each profession. It comes down to a matter of preference and finding a therapist that works for you. Having said that, we believe in osteopathy and here are some reasons why we think our profession is awesome
Dr. Leesa Neylon, Principal Senior Osteopath
Leesa is one of the initial cohort of students to graduate from Melbourne’s first Osteopathic course at RMIT ( formerly PIT) in 1990, and has been in practice in Northcote ever since. Leesa has seen the practice and profession grow enormously in that time, being part of the evolution of Osteopathy from fringe to mainstream health care.
Dr. Julie Peipers, Principal Senior Osteopath
Julie graduated as an osteopath in 1996 and immediately began her professional career as a clinician in private practice and as a lecturer in osteopathy at RMIT University. For nearly 30 years she has been co-owner of Northcote Osteopathic Clinic treating the local community seeing adults, children, babies, pregnant women, sporting injuries and the elderly. It is the diversity of general practice that keeps her happy.
